Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished gold and a subtle coppery sheen.
Nose
An elegant, fruit-forward nose of orange zest and dried apricot, warmly braided with sherry. Vanilla bean, toffee and polished oak lend sweetness and depth, while almond and fig add subtle nuttiness. A whisper of spice and red apple completes a refined, time-honed aroma.
Palate
Silky and refined on the palate, it unfurls with dark fruit, raisin and fig, touched by orange zest and toasted almond. Rich sherry sweetness coats the tongue, balanced by toffee, cocoa and a whisper of cinnamon and clove. Subtle oak lends polish, guiding a long, dignified finish of fruit and spice.
Finish
Long, opulent finish with sherried warmth, where honeyed fig and orange peel unfurl over a bed of toasted almond and polished oak, slowly fading to a delicate whisper of spice and leather.
