Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery hues and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Opulent and time-woven, the nose unfolds with deep sherry sweetness—raisin and fig compote mingle with warm toffee and burnt orange zest. Dried cherry, cinnamon and clove drift over polished oak, while a whisper of almond and cocoa adds gravitas. A subtle mineral lift and faint resin conjure alpine air, as barley sweetness lingers in a long, velvety echo.
Palate
Silky and poised, the palate opens with dark orchard fruits, orange zest, and fig, lifted by vanilla sweetness. Sherry influence brings cocoa, toasted almond, and spice—cinnamon and clove—woven with delicate oak. The texture is creamy and balanced, delivering a long, refined finish that lingers with nutty chocolate and a warm glow.
Finish
An enduring, luxurious finish where warm spice and sherry sweetness linger. Dried fig and orange peel unfold into velvety vanilla, toasted oak and cocoa, slowly fading to almond and spice. A refined, persistent warmth—elevated by the rare single-cask heritage and the high-altitude Mount Everest story.
