Colour
Dense amber-gold with coppery highlights and mahogany undertones, a sun-warmed, wine-kissed glow.
Nose
Opulent nose of Madeira-aged richness: dried fig and raisin mingle with date, orange marmalade and burnt sugar. Cocoa, almond toffee and vanilla thread through polished oak, with warm spice from cinnamon and clove. A whisper of cedar and rancio depth confirms the Madeira influence, delivering a refined, lingering sweetness and an impression of elegant maturity.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied with a lush, dessert-wine sweetness. Dried apricot, fig and raisin mingle with burnt sugar, toffee and orange zest, layered over toasted almond and subtle spice. Rich, resinous oak and a warming, peppery finish weave through a velvety mouthfeel, delivering a balanced marriage of Glenmorangie’s elegance and Madeira’s opulence.
Finish
Madeira-kissed and remarkably long, this finish folds ripe fig and raisin into orange zest, toasted almond and cocoa, with a whisper of spice and oak that lingers gracefully.
