Glenlivet Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Includes Branded Glass) 15 Year Old
Out of stock
The 15 Year Old gets its distinctive rich and exotic character from a process of selective maturation in which a proportion of the spirit is matured in French oak casks.
In fact, The Glenlivet were one of the first to use French oak for making whisky, a technique that has since been imitated the world over. The Limousin oak used is cut in France’s Dordogne region, where it’s often used to mature cognacs.
Its low density allows whisky to sink deep into the wood, and The Glenlivet carefully control how long the whisky matures in the casks so as not to overpower the desired result: a unique, pleasing spiciness.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with warm copper highlights and a honeyed, sunlit glow.
Nose
Opulent, aromatic nose of vanilla and toasted almond, mingling with orchard fruit and a whisper of orange zest. French Limousin oak spices the aroma with clove, cinnamon and nutmeg, delivering refined exotic warmth. Subtle caramel and honey glaze the finish, a poised, luxurious invitation to the palate.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied with orchard fruit and dried-fruit sweetness, lifted by vanilla and toasted French Limousin oak. A poised spine of spice—clove, cinnamon, nutmeg—drives the palate, weaving with honeyed notes and a touch of cocoa. The oak depth remains refined, never overpowering, leaving a warm, lingering finish of spice and refined wood.
Finish
Elegant and long, the finish lingers with warm spice, a whisper of vanilla, and a soft, integrated oak sweetness that slowly fades to a refined, inviting glow.
