Tasting Notes
Colour
Radiant golden amber with coppery warmth
Nose
Sherry-driven nose with dark fruit medley—raisin, fig and plum—brightened by orange zest. Caramel toffee, vanilla and toasted almond weave through polished oak, while gentle spice of cinnamon and clove lingers. The 58.8% ABV adds a poised lift, hinting at a rich, refined Highland profile.
Palate
Rich and full-bodied, the palate is sherry-forward with ripe dried fruits—raisin, fig, prune—over a creamy malt. Notes of toffee, dark chocolate and orange zest mingle with warming spice (cinnamon, clove). Silky texture leads to a long, indulgent finish, carried by gentle oak sweetness and a whisper of nutmeg.
Finish
Long, warm finish with dark dried fruit, fig and plum, woven with cocoa and a hint of orange zest. Sherried spice—cinnamon and clove—lingers against velvety oak, bringing toffee, almond and a whisper of leather. The warmth persists, slowly fading to a refined, slightly drying tail that invites the next sip.
