A Limited edition Glengoyne single malt which was finished in fresh Scottish Oak casks for around 3 months for a more savoury take on the rich Highland style you get with the likes of Aberlour A'bunadh or Glenfarclas 105. A meaty mouthfull of dark treacle & honey on brown toast with plenty of spicy oak and sherry like character and the only Scottish oak finish i know of?

Palate
Meaty and savory on the palate, dark treacle and honey spread over brown toast, with Scottish oak delivering a peppery, spicy spine. Sherry-like depth threads through, adding structure and a toasted, resinous lift. The mouthfeel is velvety and full-bodied, carrying oak sweetness with warm spice.
Finish
Long, savoury finish of dark treacle and honey on brown toast, tempered by spicy Scottish oak. A gentle sherry-like warmth lingers, with toasted wood and a peppery, resinous oak afterglow.
