The first release in Glengoyne's Legacy series pays homage to Cochrane Cartwright, the distillery manager who slowed distillation times and introduced Sherry cask maturation. Bottled at 48% ABV, this delicious single malt is rich, sweet and fruity, with notes of sweet Sherry, raisins, nuts, vanilla, and dried apricot.

Colour
Rich amber-gold with a coppery sheen and mahogany edges, a luminous hue that glows with sunset warmth, hinting at sherry-cask maturation.
Nose
Opulent and inviting, this nose unfolds with sticky toffee pudding, dates and vanilla custard, lifted by warm pear and a whisper of cinnamon.
Palate
Mouth-coating and thick, it unfurls layers of sweet cherry and dried fruits over gentle oak, with sultanas and vanilla weaving through rich Sherry-inflected sweetness.
Finish
Dried fruits and spice linger in a long, balanced finish, with sherry sweetness, raisins and vanilla slowly fading into warm oak.
