Part of Glengoyne's rebranded Highland Single Malt range. The signature distillery expression, Glengoyne 10 Year is gentle, approachable and ideal as an introduction to single malt whisky.

The aroma is bold and malt forward with a touch of Sherry sweetness. The palate is malty with subtle flavours of dried fruit and sweet spice. This 10 year old Glengoyne is a gold metal winning single malt at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Golden yellow. Clear and bright.

Nose

Sweet, with toffee and popcorn aromas. Slightly nutty, with fresh green apples coming through.

Palate

Clean. Green apples and grass, soft oak and a hint of sweet liquorice. Water brings linseed oil and almonds.

Finish

Sweet and malty.

Glengoyne
(glen-GOY’n) Glengoyne was founded in 1833 and is one of the few distilleries to pair a Highland spirit with warehouses that sit across the Highland Line in the Lowlands. Originally known as Burnfoot Distillery, it developed from earlier illicit distilling on the site before becoming Glengoyne, and it has been owned by Ian Macleod Distillers since 2003.
