Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold glow and a subtle mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent sherry-draped nose with dark fruits—fig, prune, raisin—accented by orange zest and toffee. Rich oak, almond paste and cocoa mingle with cinnamon and nutmeg, plus a hint of leather. A warm, decadent aroma that signals a deeply aged, luxurious single malt.
Palate
Opulent sherry-led palate with dark fig, raisin and orange peel resting on a rich malt core. Caramelized toffee, chocolate and toasted almond mingle with spice—cinnamon and clove—over velvety oak. Full-bodied and warming at 58.2%, it finishes long, nutty and elegantly lacquered with hints of leather and cocoa.
Finish
Long, warm and sherried, the finish layers dark fruit, fig and orange zest with honeyed toffee. Spices—cinnamon and clove—drift over polished oak, while cocoa and toasted almond echo in the final echo. A velvet, persistent warmth lingers, fading to a refined, gilded glow.
