Very deep bronze.
Another full bodied and heavily sherried Glenfarclas, but quite peaty for this distillery.
Spicy yet sweet, a complex palate that evolves. Add a drop of water and enjoy the whisky as it opens up, revealing a mix of maltiness and sherry in your mouth.
The water also lets you enjoy the flavours for longer.
A little vanilla on the aftertaste. Strong yet very warming.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Very deep bronze, a rich copper-tinted glow with warm, sherry-kissed depth that speaks of long maturation.
Nose
Deep sherry-laden aroma, rich with dried fig, raisin and cocoa, edged by dark toffee and orange zest. Full-bodied malt with oak and vanilla, while a subtle peaty smoke threads through, lending warmth and complexity that evolves as the glass opens.
Palate
Full-bodied and heavily sherried, with a hint of peat that sets Glenfarclas apart. Spicy yet sweet, the palate evolves from dark fruit and malt into richly chewy sherry, all wrapped in warmth. Add a drop of water to open the maltiness and sherry, extending the flavours. Vanilla lingers on the aftertaste, a strong, comforting warmth.
Finish
Long, richly warming, the finish combines vanilla sweetness with spiced malt, carried on a deep sherry backbone. It lingers warmly, gradually fading to a soft, comforting glow of oak and sweetness.
