A very dark treacle colour.
A wonderful nose, rich and appetising, malty and caramel all in one. I can sense the toffee from a toffee apple.
A strong whisky for it's years, with fresh fruity and floral tastes. Adding a few drops of water to this really does wonders, releasing an array of sherry flavours mixed with toasted coffee. Magnificent.
The finish is long, but you wish it was longer. You will want to remember the light fresh and fruity flavour forever.
A great late night dram. Savour with friends until dawn.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Very dark treacle colour, deep and glossy with mahogany-amber undertones.
Nose
Rich and appetising, the nose blends malty sweetness with caramel, culminating in a crisp toffee apple aroma.
Palate
Opulent on the palate: treacle and toffee fuse with rich malt and dried fruit, carried by sherry sweetness. Orange zest, fig and cocoa rise, with toasted coffee adding depth. At cask strength the finish is long and warming; a drop of water unfolds more sherry fruit and roasted notes, leaving a silky, lingering fruity glow.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish shrouded in sherry sweetness, with hints of toffee, dried fruit and cocoa. A soft coffee-kissed warmth lingers, gently fading to a refined, persistent glow that invites another sip.
