Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depths and a warm copper-gold glow.
Nose
Aromas of rich sherry rise, with dried fruits—raisin, fig, prune—layered with orange zest, toffee and dark honey. Nutty almond and walnut notes mingle with cacao, vanilla and a hint of spice, while polished oak provides a refined, sweet-wood backbone. A velvety, opulent nose that invites with warmth and depth.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this Glenfarclas delivers lush sherried richness: raisin, fig and cherry mingle with orange zest, toasted almond and a touch of cocoa. Spices—cinnamon and clove—and subtle oak weave through, while the 40% ABV keeps it balanced. The finish is long and warming, fading to nutty, dried-fruit echoes.
Finish
Long, warm finish with sherried sweetness lingering beside dried fig and raisin, accented by orange zest. Nutty almond, cocoa and toasted oak unfold, while cinnamon and ginger spice slowly fade, leaving a velvety, persistent impression.
