Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with coppery glints and a mahogany edge, glowing with sherry‑toned warmth.
Nose
Opulent sherry-draped bouquet of dark plum, fig and blackberry, lifted by caramel and a hint of orange zest. Rich spice—cinnamon, clove and nutmeg—melts into vanilla and polished oak, with cocoa and coffee adding depth. A delicate tobacco and leather undercurrent lingers, signaling the cask-strength maturity of this Glendullan.
Palate
Velvety and full-bodied, the palate unfurls in a sherried blaze of dark fruit—figs, raisins, and plum—layered with toasted almond, toffee, and a kiss of spice. Rich oak frames the sweetness, finishing long, warm, and cacao-tinted with orange zest.
Finish
Long, warm finish with rich sherried sweetness; dark chocolate, dried plum and espresso notes linger beside toasted oak and gentle spice, fading into a refined thread of almond, leather and nutmeg as the whisky leaves a lasting, indulgent glow.
