Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with rich mahogany depths and coppery highlights, a warm, sherry-kissed glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry-forward aroma with dark dried fruits, orange peel, and a kiss of fig. Toasted American oak brings almond, vanilla, and toffee, while a whisper of cinnamon and clove adds refinement, yielding a velvety, long-lasting depth.
Palate
Opulent and silky, the palate unfurls with dark plum and fig, orange zest and toffee. Sherry-backed richness coats the tongue, mingling roasted almond, cacao nib and nuanced oak spice. Full-bodied yet poised, with caramelized sugar, ginger heat and a long, refined finish of dried-fruit sweetness and nutty depth.
Finish
An expansive, velvety finish: dark dried-fruit sweetness mingles with cocoa, fig and orange zest, lifted by a whisper of spice. The sherry American oak coats the palate, leaving a walnut-honey sweetness that lingers with warm cinnamon and toasted oak, fading into a refined, long-lasting echo.
