Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright gold with a sunlit, honey-amber glow.
Nose
Very fresh and inviting, with cotton-candy green grapes, lemon drizzle cake and vanilla icing, ripe melon, hints of powdered ginger and lemongrass, and a base of fresh barley and digestive biscuits.
Palate
Sweet green grapes with sugared almond and crisp green apple, dusted with icing sugar and ginger spice; gooseberry fool and green rhubarb add brightness, while vanilla Greek yoghurt with herbs cushions the finish.
Finish
Marzipan and candyfloss linger with green grapes and barley sugar, lemon curd and sugared almond, apple Danish and boiled sweets, finishing with a subtle peppery oak.
