A first for me seeing Glen Grant single malt finished in Moscatel sweet Sherry casks, but that is the beauty of these Independent releases as it gives you chance to try something different from your favourite or even a lesser known distillery.
A single cask release by The Creative Whisky Company under "The Exclusive Malts" range that yielded just 270 bottles.
Bottled at 21 years old and distilled on 23rd April 1996
Colour coded as "Spicy,dry, oaky" on the flavour profile with each release.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Sunlit honey-gold with warm amber depths and coppery glints.
Nose
Rosewater and Turkish delight unfold with a fragrant, flowery lift; red cherry and pink wafers mingle with battenberg cake, while hints of fruit-and-nut chocolate add a luxuriously sweet framing.
Palate
Red plums and red cherries mingle with aromatic, floral peppery spice, and notes of dolly mixtures, Turkish delight and sugared almonds grace the palate, ending in a gently spiced, subtly sweet finish.
Finish
Peppery red berries mingle with crunchy tannins, unfolding into floral rose petals and fragrant cherries, before sugared almonds emerge and a final whisper of tinned strawberries lingers.
