Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with mahogany depth and copper-bronze highlights.
Nose
Rich sherried nose of dried fig, plum and raisin, woven with cherry sweetness. Hints of toasted almond, cocoa and dark chocolate mingle with vanilla and warm spices—cinnamon and clove—over velvety oak. Bold, fragrant, and deeply inviting, it promises depth and elegance at cask strength.
Palate
Powerful, full-bodied palate with a syrupy richness and a hint of smoke. Deep dried fruit—fig and raisin—meets espresso, dark chocolate, toffee and vanilla, all riding the sherry-cask oak. Spices—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—flare mid-palate, adding warmth and elegance. Long finish of cocoa, orange zest and toasted cedar, with a final hint of tobacco.
Finish
Long, opulent finish of dark fruit—raisin and fig—paired with cocoa, leather and toasted almond. Sherry-derived sweetness lingers, balanced by spices and a peppery, cask-strength warmth that persists into a richly enduring finale.
