Tasting Notes

Colour

Radiant amber-gold with warm honey undertones and coppery glints, a sunlit depth that hints at vanilla and toffee.

Nose

Toasted oak with deep notes of treacle toffee and caramelised autumn fruits.

Palate

Baked spiced apple entwined with vanilla and smoked raisins on the palate, delivering a rich, smooth mouthfeel with subtle warmth and lingering spice, finishing with toasted oak notes.

Finish

Sweetness and spice soften and drift away, leaving a whisper of smoke over toasted oak. An elegant, wonderfully long finish that lingers gracefully.

Glen Moray
(Glen-MOR-ay) Glen Moray was founded in 1897 in Elgin, when the old Elgin West Brewery was converted into a distillery, with the first spirit running on 13 September that year. After a short silent period during the First World War, production resumed and the distillery was later acquired by Macdonald & Muir, before passing to La Martiniquaise in 2008.
