Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery sheen and a sunlit honey glow.
Nose
Sherried richness settles on a base of honeyed malt. Dried fig and raisin mingle with orange zest and ripe pear, while almonds, cocoa nibs and toffee add depth. Spices—cinnamon and clove—rise with a velvety oak, giving a warm, luxurious perfume that lingers with a subtle leather undertone.
Palate
Silky and generously sherried on the palate, with raisined fig, date and orange peel, entwined with dark cherry. Rich vanilla and toffee sweetness mingle with cocoa notes, while cinnamon, clove and nutmeg spice waltz with velvety oak. Full-bodied and refined, it delivers a long, warm finish where fruit, spice and oak linger gracefully.
Finish
An enduring, softly spiced finish that lingers with orchard fruits and dark chocolate. Sherry-cask influence leaves raisin and fig sweetness, tempered by silky oak and a hint of orange peel. Warmth persists, fading to a refined, nutty malt whisper.
