Aged in new white American oak casks that have not been seasoned with the usual Bourbon or sherry, or more simply.. virgin oak and as always with Glen Garioch bottled at 48% ABV for added depth and spice which is turned up to the max with the Vigin oak adding even more spice to the mix.
As close as a Scottish single malt gets to being a Bourbon, like an American diner of a breakfast malt, big, sweet, chewy oak and lots of spice.

Nose
Oily orange rind, aromatic spices, palma violets, toasted vanilla waffles, creme brulee, golden syrup in oatmeal.
Palate
Dark toffee, spicy vanilla, demorera sugar, waxy orange, toasted oak and aromatic spices, chocolate, bbq sweet glaze on ribs, pancakes and syrup in an American diner.
Finish
Sweet and sappy oak, toasted vanilla, orange toffee, more spices (clove, nutmeg & cinnamon) creme brulee, touch of hickory smoke, cola cube fizz, maple wood.
