Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold sheen, a warm, sherry-bronzed hue that hints at a long, luscious maturation.
Nose
Glen Albyn reveals a sherry-draped, quietly luxurious aroma: dark plum, fig and raisin mingle with glazed orange peel. Cocoa and toffee weave through toasted almond and warm spice—cinnamon and clove—over supple oak. A faint note of leather and tobacco adds depth, finishing with a refined, lingering sweetness.
Palate
Glen Albyn's palate is silky and generous, a velvet mouthfeel carried by sherry depth. Dried fruit, fig and raisin mingle with dark chocolate, toffee and a hint of walnut. Spices—clove and cinnamon—add warmth against gentle oak and polished tannins. The finish is long and refined, with orange zest, leather and a lingering kiss of spice.
Finish
Silky, long finish with a gentle sherry lift. Dark chocolate and dried fig unfurl with almond and espresso, carried by warm, oak-kissed spice. The sweetness tapers to a refined velvet, leaving a final echo of tobacco and leather.
