Elegant and old-world on the nose: polished malt and honeyed barley mingle with citrus zest and orchard fruit, edged by dried fig and almond. Subtle oak brings a whisper of spice, with a touch of tobacco and leather, unfolding into a refined, age-woven sweetness.

Palate

Silky and refined, with orchard-fruit sweetness—apple and pear—over soft malt and a whisper of vanilla. Subtle oak and gentle spice weave through the mid-palate, finishing long and elegant with citrus zest.

Finish

A long, refined finish that lingers with polished oak, a whisper of spice, and a soft cocoa echo. Silky warmth settles into a gentle smoke, fading to a quiet, dignified glow.

(Glen AOL-bin) Glen Albyn was a Highland single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Inverness, founded in 1846 by James Sutherland, Provost of Inverness. Built beside the Caledonian Canal, the distillery had access to Loch Ness water and was located close to Glen Mhor, another lost Inverness distillery. Glen Albyn had a difficult early life, including a fire in 1849, periods of closure, conversion into a flour mill, and a full rebuild by Grigor & Co in 1884.
