This exquisite Irish whiskey represents the blending together of carefully selected casks of aged malt and grain whiskies. Mellowed by time in a soft Irish climate, tones of citrus and vanilla emerge from grain, malt and oak.

Tasting: Smooth, sweet, crisp grain, complex combinations of oak, fruit and sweetness.

Colour

Golden amber with a warm honey-gold glow and sunlit caramel undertones.

Nose

Sweet vanilla leads into bright citrus peel and honey, with a whisper of spice. Buttered almonds and candy-orange notes mingle with warm oak, forming an inviting, creamy aroma that hints at depth and balance.

Palate

Smooth and sweet on the palate, crisp grain carries a complex weave of oak, fruit and sweetness. Subtle citrus and vanilla lift from the grain and malt, finishing with a silky, long vanilla oak echo.

Finish

Silky at first, the finish unfolds into a long, lingering sweetness of vanilla and oak.

Fercullen is the whiskey brand of Powerscourt Distillery at Powerscourt Estate in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow. The distillery began producing whiskey in 2018 in the estate’s old Mill House, a heritage building dating to the 1730s, returning whiskey production to Enniskerry and Wicklow after more than a century. The name comes from Fera Cualann, the old Gaelic name for the surrounding territory.
