Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a burnished golden glow.
Nose
Silky vanilla and caramel from first-fill bourbon weave with Oloroso sherry richness—raisin, fig and dark plum. Candied orange, almond and cocoa unfold, while a gentle coastal brine hints at Fedje’s sea air. Elegant and layered, the aroma promises sweetness tempered by spice and a touch of maritime nuance.
Palate
Silky and velvety on the palate, it unfolds vanilla and caramel from first-fill bourbon, layered with creamy oak. Oloroso influence brings dried fig and raisin, a touch of cocoa and toffee. Spices—nutmeg and gentle white pepper—linger as a warm, coastal finish that extends long and refined.
Finish
Silky and expansive, the finish lingers with warm vanilla, toffee and sherried dark fruit, threaded by oak spice and a whisper of sea breeze. Long and refined, it fades slowly into a soft, persistent sweetness that lingers on the palate.
