Elements of Islay Campfire is a limited release blended malt from three characterful Islay single malts. Matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry butts, first-fill bourbon barrels and lightly charred and toasted new oak barrels, this blend brings together malts from the north and south coast of the island - giving you the full Islay experience.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Gingerbread dough greets the nose, edged with dusty smoke. Lemon and orange peel lift the aroma, with a whisper of raspberry leaf tea. A rich vanilla cream folds through, while milk chocolate and coal embers add a comforting, smoky depth.

Palate

Singed ginger thins with cinnamon and nutmeg. Deeply charred marshmallow and raspberry jam coat the tongue with dark chocolate with crystallized orange and freeze-dried raspberry coming through.

Finish

Lingering coal smoke alongside more dark, jammy fruit. The spice is dry and carries the hint of bitter dark chocolate.
