Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a wine-kissed ruby glow.
Nose
Ripe red fruits—black cherry, plum and blackberry—lead the nose, with hints of fig and tart cherry. Spiced vanilla, cocoa nibs and toasted almond echo the Lagrein cask, adding leather, cacao and a wine-kissed, velvety depth.
Palate
Silky and wine-kissed, this Highland laces dark cherry and blackberry with plum and cocoa. Vanilla, toffee and a whisper of oak cushion velvet tannins drawn from Lagrein-cask maturation, while dried fruit and spice linger into a refined, wine-soaked finish.
Finish
Long, wine-kissed finish with dark cherry and blackberry fruit, tempered by Lagrein tannins from the first-fill red wine casks. Hints of cocoa and roasted coffee unfold into spice and cedar, then a refined, drying oak fade that lingers with quiet warmth and elegant balance.
