Distilled on 30 August 2012, this 13 year old Deanston Highland single malt was bottled in November 2025 for the Infrequent Flyers series. The whisky underwent a five year finishing period in a Pedro Ximénez puncheon (half cask), adding a rich sherried layer to the distillery’s distinctive character. Bottled at 57.9% ABV, this limited release combines Highland spirit with the influence of sweet PX cask maturation. Only 348 bottles were produced.

Nose
Opulent, dark-fruited bouquet: prune, fig and raisin mingle with velvety Pedro Ximénez richness. Cinnamon-dusted caramel, burnt sugar and toffee weave through orange zest and almond paste, with warm oak and a delicate vanilla accord lending poised elegance to the aroma.
Palate
Opulent and syrupy, the palate greets with PX-driven sweetness—raisin, fig and prune—woven into creamy malt. Rich toffee and dark chocolate mingle with espresso and baking spices, while orange zest adds lift. Full-bodied and velvety, a warm, oak-backed finish supports a lengthy echo of coffee, dried fruit and subtle resin, leaving a luxurious, lingering sweetness.
Finish
Opulent, long finish saturated with Pedro Ximénez sweetness: raisins, fig and prune mingle with treacle and brown sugar, a hint of dark cocoa, while warm spice and toasted oak linger in a velvet, enduring glow.
