For ten years, this Single Malt from the Deanston Distillery matured, initially matured in exBourbon casks, and was given the finish in former red wine barrels from Bordeaux, France.
A deliciously rich single malt that has been matured for its entire ten year live in Bordeaux Red Wine Casks.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with ruby-copper highlights and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Intense aromas of ripe grapes mingle with wine-barrel notes, softened by honey, toffee and a touch of spice.
Palate
Dark chocolate with molasses and toffee, unfolding into red wine notes and honey, carried on a generous backbone of sweet malt.
Finish
Long, graciously draining, the finish delivers sweet honeyed malt with red-wine spice, a warm cocoa-molasses sweetness that lingers softly, tapering to a peppery, elegant fade.
