Tasting Notes
Colour
Sunlit gold with a warm amber core and a subtle copper edge.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven bouquet of fig, raisin and orange peel, layered over Dalwhinnie's honeyed malt. Subtle almond, cocoa nib and toasted oak add warmth, with a whisper of spice and heather in the background.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied with sherried sweetness layering over Dalwhinnie’s honeyed malt. Ripe toffee, dried fruits, orange zest and almond unfold, punctuated by nutmeg and clove. Subtle oak and cocoa provide depth, while a creamy texture coats the palate. The finish is long and warming, with chocolatey notes and a final lift of citrus spice.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with honeyed warmth and dried fruit, almond and a touch of cocoa from the sherry finish. Subtle spice lingers, wrapped in a gentle, oaken glow.
