Tasting Notes
Colour
A warm tapestry of amber tones, ranging from pale gold to deep copper, with a honeyed glow.
Nose
Layered and aromatic: peat smoke and iodine meet creamy vanilla and toasted oak; spice notes of clove and nutmeg mingle with orange zest. Spanish-wine cask influences emerge as red fruit and fig sweetness, with cocoa and a hint of sea salt—an elegant fusion of smoke, spice and wine.
Palate
On the palate, a threefold harmony unfolds: bold peat smoke from The Peat Monster lends briny, medicinal depth; rich spice from The Spice Tree—cinnamon, clove, vanilla—drifts in from French oak; and luscious red-fruit notes from The Story of the Spaniard mingle with a kiss of Spanish wine-cask sweetness. The result is a balanced, lingering finish of smoke, spice and ripe fruit.
Finish
Long, evolving finish that threads ember-peat with honeyed spice and red-fruit sweetness from Spanish cask aging, followed by a warm, polished fade of vanilla, oak and cocoa that lingers invitingly for another sip.
