Compass Box Myths & Legends III Blended Scotch Whisky
Out of stock
The third release in the Myths & Legends series from Compass Box, challenging the notion of single malts and blending. This expression continues from the second release in that the lion share of the whisky is comprised of Malt from Glen Elgin. This has then been blended with small parcels of peated malt from Highland Park and Caol Ila (yep, no Clynelish in this series!).
As always, Compass Box aim to produce a whisky that is greater than the sum of it's parts and this whisky is said to have flavours of 'Papaya, mango and butterscotch' which 'meld with aromatic and assertive peatiness'. Boittled at 46% abv , this is a limited release of just 4446 bottles.

Palate
Juicy papaya and mango ride a creamy butterscotch core, while bold, aromatic peat weaves through the malt blend. Silky, balanced and long, with a touch of coastal lift and refined sweetness.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with tropical fruit sweetness—papaya and mango—brightened by silky butterscotch. Aromatic peat lingers, weaving through the palate, delivering a warm, smoky glow and a subtle, refined spice that persists.
