Compass Box Myths & Legends II Blended Scotch Whisky
Out of stock
The second bottling of Compass Box's new Myths & Legends series, a series challenging our perception of Scotch Whisky. This second bottling blends together malt whiskies of different ages from a single Speyside distillery (Glen Elgin). Compass Box suggest that this expression highlights how process matters more than provenance when it comes to the flavours of single malts.
Bottled at 46% abv and a release of just 4564, this whisky has 'expressive tropical fruitiness' with 'notes of silky butterscotch and sweet spices'..

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with copper undertones and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
A tropical bouquet of pineapple and mango rises from the glass, brushed with silky butterscotch and honeyed vanilla. Gentle spices—cinnamon and clove—linger, adding warmth and depth to the fruit-forward aroma.
Palate
Expressive tropical fruit flavors—mango, pineapple, and guava—arrive on a luxurious, creamy base of silky butterscotch. Sweet spices—vanilla, cinnamon, and a touch of clove—unfold with subtle warmth, caressing the palate. The texture is smooth and luscious, leading to a balanced, lingering finish that echoes fruit and caramel.
Finish
Long, velvety finish that lets expressive tropical fruit shimmer linger into silky butterscotch. Sweet spices trail softly—vanilla, cinnamon—while a gentle oak sweetness supports a warm, honeyed depth that slowly fades.
