Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with sunlit honey hues and a gentle copper glow, a warm, shimmering shade that hints at a light sherry influence.
Nose
Lightly sherried and delicately perfumed, this nose offers warm dried fruits—raisins, sultanas and fig—floated with orange zest. Subtle almond, toffee and cocoa mingle with gentle malt, while a touch of cinnamon and clove and a whisper of oak add refinement to the sweetness.
Palate
Silky and medium-bodied, this Great King St OO-V4 delivers a light sherry kiss with honeyed sweetness. Dried apple, raisin and fig mingle with orange peel and toffee, while warm spices—cinnamon, nutmeg, a hint of clove—layer over vanilla and soft oak. The finish is refined and lingering, with fruit and spice enduring on the palate.
Finish
A refined, lingering finish where delicate sherry sweetness reappears against warm oak and spice. Dried orange and almond unfold into creamy vanilla, settling into a softly cocoa-toned tail that lingers with quiet elegance.
