Every few years, Compass Box discover whiskies with the power and harmony worthy of Flaming Heart - the 2022 release uses a new power trio of Laphroaig, Talisker and Caol Ila to bring the melodic peat as well as a very complex selection of some old Compass Box blends.

Deep amber-gold with copper highlights and a burnished mahogany glow.
Nose
A high-energy nose of smouldering peat embers, cigar wrapper and candied ginger.
Palate
Oily, palate-coating and intensely smoky, this edition floods the mouth with molten peat, maritime tang and ash. Rich, savoury depth is threaded with vanilla-spiked oak from virgin French casks, finishing long with peppery warmth and a lingering smoke.
Finish
Long, smoky finish that coats the palate in oily peat and savory depth. Lingering maritime notes mingle with pepper and charred French oak, unfolding in waves of resin and subtle sweetness before fading to a warm, persistent ember glow.
