Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold glow and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Waxen and maritime, it opens with citrus zest, honeyed orchard fruit and sun-warmed fig. Sherry influence unveils dried raisin, cocoa nib and toasted almond, while sea salt and waxy oak lend coastal depth. A subtle spice of clove and nutmeg lingers, hinting at a refined, enduring sweetness.
Palate
Silky, waxy and full-bodied, this coastal dram coats the palate with citrus zest, honeyed pear and salted caramel. Sherry lift brings toffee, dried fruit and spice, while iodine and oak lend a maritime backbone. The finish is long and warming, with almond and faint pepper shadows.
Finish
An enduring, elegant finish that lingers with waxy Clynelish poise. Sherried depth coats the palate with dark fig and raisin, then cocoa and a coastal mineral spine. Orange zest and gentle spice thread through the tail, leaving a honeyed warmth that slowly fades into refined oak.
