Chronicle bottlings are small batch whiskies usually from 3-6 casks. This secret Islay bottling is a combination of three refill Bourbon casks that have then been finished in first fill Bourbon casks for the final 3 years. This is a classic ex-Bourbon cask aged Islay whisky.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich golden amber with honeyed warmth and a faint coppery glow.
Nose
Creamy custard with vanilla forms the base, rising to wisps of smoke and peat. Candied fruits glitter in the background, weaving a sweet, restrained aroma that hints at Islay’s smoky core.
Palate
Smooth and sweet on the palate, revealing candied orange and smoked orange, woven with a creamy fudge. The sweetness glides across the tongue with a soft, dessert-like glow.
Finish
Young oak and burnt caramel fuse with orange marmalade, delivering a warm, lingering finish that leaves a subtle caramel-orange sweetness and a gentle char.
