Sherry cask influence yields fig, raisin and lacquered oak, while vanilla, leather and cocoa add warmth. Maritime minerals and a whisper of iodine lift the profile, hinting at a long, resinous finish brined by the sea.

Palate

Oil-rich and fearless, the palate presents towering peat and brine, a medicinal bite of iodine tempered by sea-salt gloss. Dark fruit lazes beneath sherry-driven sweetness—fig, raisin, a hint of cocoa—while char and vanilla weave through the heat. At 61.9%, a fierce peppery spine carries a long, resinous finish of smoke, waxy grip, and lingering warmth.
