Peat-smoked and maritime, this Caol Ila greets the palate with iodine, sea-salt and smoky embers. Zest of lemon and green apple mingle with subtle vanilla, while mineral depth and a touch of sweetness hold the middle. The finish lingers with peat, ash and a gentle brine.
Finish
Long, maritime peat remains, carrying a brisk coastal smoke and iodine that lightly salts the palate. Dark sherry-influenced fruit and cocoa unfurl, then fade to a warm, resinous finish with gentle oak, leaving a delicate sweetness and a final whisper of smoke.
