Colour
Bright golden straw with warm amber undertones.
Nose
Caol Ila's peat smoke and sea air dominate, edged with iodine and brine. A sherry undercurrent brings dried fig, raisin and dark chocolate, wrapped in warm spice and a touch of savoury oak.
Palate
Silky and fresh, the palate opens with cool coastal peat, iodine and sea-salt, layered over a whisper of citrus zest. Hints of creamy vanilla and toffee mingle with smoke, then a drying, peppery finish that lingers with char and mineral notes.
Finish
Long maritime finish with peat smoke and sea spray, mineral brine and a touch of sweetness persisting, then a warm, peppery fade that settles into a clean, smoky afterglow.
