A single cask from independent bottler Douglas Laing Co. This bottle is from the largest grain distillery in Europe Cameronbridge. With only 200 hand filled bottles this well presented wooden boxed bottle is a rare opportunity to experience a 43 year old natural cask strength bottle.
The nose opens with a grand overture of fine wood, Madagascan vanila pos and subtle liqurice. Detect more of the initial wood on the palete, then follows dark fruit gums, strawberry jam and a touch of peppermint. The finish is long with a peppery spice, scottich sticky toffee pudding and a warm toffee sauce.

Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold glow and walnut-brown depth, like liquid caramel aged in a seasoned cask.
Nose
A grand overture of fine oak and polished wood, with Madagascan vanilla and a thread of liquorice. The aroma deepens into rich wood tones, then unfolds dark fruit gums, strawberry jam and a whisper of peppermint.
Palate
On the palate, robust oak leads into dark fruit gums, strawberry jam and a touch of peppermint. The finish is long and peppery, unfolding into a Scottish sticky toffee pudding profile with warm toffee sauce.
Finish
A long, warming finish of peppery spice, Scottish sticky toffee pudding and a lush, warm toffee sauce that lingers on the palate.
