Cameronbridge Connoisseurs Choice Single Cask #18108 Whisky 21 Year Old · 1997 Vintage
Out of stock
Good aged grain whisky and sherry casks always gets a thumbs up from me. Despite Cameronbridge's monstrous output (mostly for Diageo's blends) this is another great example of what can be produced with age and fine wood management.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-golden with coppery depths and a mahogany edge, a sherry-bronze glow that hints at oak maturity.
Nose
Subtle sherry notes unfurl into candy-store sweetness: orange zest, sweet-tart lemon, strawberry liquorice, and soft vanilla fudge, with occasional whispers of cocoa powder.
Palate
Sweet yet spicy; white pepper accompanies fresh vanilla pod flavours. Candied citrus weaves into notes of caramelised brown sugar; toasted malt layers over mature oak undertones.
Finish
A lingering herbal edge, brightened by flashes of freshly squeezed lemonade.
