Dark fruit perfume of cherry, plum and raisin lifts with fig and dried apricot, braided with vanilla and toffee. Subtle oak and bready malt add warmth, while gentle spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—echoes the Oloroso sherry influence. A rich, inviting aroma that hints at the whiskey’s depth and remarkable smoothness.

Bushmills traces its whiskey heritage to 1608, when King James I granted Sir Thomas Phillips a licence to distil in County Antrim. The Old Bushmills Distillery was formally registered in 1784 by Hugh Anderson, making it one of the most historic names in Irish whiskey. Production is centred in the village of Bushmills, close to the River Bush, with the distillery long associated with triple-distilled Irish whiskey made from malted barley.
