Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold sheen and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Sherry-rich and woody on the nose, with dark dried fruit—figs, raisins, and a touch of cherry—alongside caramel toffee and cocoa. Rich oak foregrounds the aroma, seasoned with earthy timber notes and a faint maritime whisper from Islay air.
Palate
Sherry-led sweetness coats the palate, entwined with a robust woody backbone. Dried fruits, toffee and subtle spice emerge as the oak from the sherry butts shines through, lending earthy, resinous depth. The finish lingers with warm, gentle tannins and a comforting, polished woodiness.
Finish
Long, mellifluous finish with sherry-led sweetness lingering over rich wood. Woody, earthy notes unfold into cocoa and dried fruit, touched by a whisper of spice. A refined, persistent fade that slowly settles into warm, coastal calm.
