Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a coppery glow and warm honey-gold highlights.
Nose
Opulent nose of ripe orchard fruits—peach, apricot and pear—lifted by honeyed vanilla and almond. Cognac-cask influences bring toffee, dried fig and a whisper of spice, while a subtle coastal breeze and polished oak frame the aroma with elegant warmth.
Palate
Silky and luxurious on the palate, this Cognac-finished Bunnahabhain delivers orchard fruit—peach and apricot—softly layered with vanilla, cream and toffee. Subtle almond and marzipan mingle with a coastal breeze of sea-salt. The 59.6% ABV lends warmth and gentle spice, guiding a long, elegant finish of fruit, nuttiness and caramel.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish of apricot, fig and honeyed raisin, braided with vanilla and warm spice. The cognac cask lends polished oak, a touch of grape sweetness, and a hint of cocoa, finishing with a mouth-coating warmth and a whisper of coastal smoke.
