Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper highlights and a sun-kissed glow.
Nose
Coastal brine and sea-salt lift a bold peat smoke that drapes over sun-warmed barley. Vanilla, honey and citrus zest thread through the malt, with a delicate toffee sweetness and a whispered spice from the high alcohol.
Palate
Mineral sea-salt and iodine open the palate, then a bold wave of peat smoke envelops toasted barley. Citrus zest and honeyed sweetness lift the smoke, while dark chocolate, vanilla and oak add depth for a long, warming finish.
Finish
Long, coastal finish with iodine-laden peat, sea-salt brine and a gentle smokiness. The warmth of oak and a touch of spice linger, slowly fading to resinous sweetness as the smoke dries the palate.
