Non-chill filtered and natural in colour, this rich mahogany malt is one of the Bunnahabhain family favourites. Exclusively matured in sherry seasoned casks, this has a beautiful balance of sweetness, nuttiness and subtle coastal notes. It is intensely warming with dried fruit, toffee and spice followed by delicious honeyed nuttiness and the slightest hint of sea salt.

Nose

Sherry-rich and fruit-forward, with dried fig and raisin over toffee and warm spice. Honeyed nuttiness—almond and hazelnut—drifts through, while a subtle coastal breeze hints at sea salt. The aroma wears a mahogany glow, promising a luxurious, warming sip.

(BUNNA-hah-ven) Built in 1881, Bunnahabhain is situated on the north east coast of Islay, overlooking the Sound of Islay near Caol Ila. Bunnahabhain's initial aim was to produce Whisky for blending only. While it was used across the industry, it performed a central role in three famous blends: Famous Grouse, Cutty Sark and Black Bottle. Following a short period of closure in the early 1980s, Bunnahabhain re-emerged as a Single Malt.
