Colour

Deep russet gold with warm amber and copper undertones, a luminous, sun-warmed glow.

Nose

A creamy bouquet of milk chocolate unfolds with red berries and sweet dried fruit, animated by Oloroso spice and a whisper of cloves.

Palate

Toasted nuts, salted caramel and chocolate-covered raisins lead the palate, weaving with crisp apple and poached pear, finished by a delicate dusting of cinnamon.

Finish

Sweet, long finish that lingers with cocoa and cherries, subtly brightened by a touch of sea spray.

Bunnahabhain
(BUNNA-hah-ven) Built in 1881, Bunnahabhain is situated on the north east coast of Islay, overlooking the Sound of Islay near Caol Ila. Bunnahabhain's initial aim was to produce Whisky for blending only. While it was used across the industry, it performed a central role in three famous blends: Famous Grouse, Cutty Sark and Black Bottle. Following a short period of closure in the early 1980s, Bunnahabhain re-emerged as a Single Malt.
