Deep amber with mahogany undertones and a coppery glow.

Nose

Dark chocolate leads the nose, mingling with malty sweetness, toasted nuts and a whisper of clove, wrapped in a subtle sherry lift from the Oloroso cask.

Palate

Sweet sherry dominates the palate, enveloping dark chocolate with velvety richness, while subtle malt and nut notes add depth and a warming spice that lingers.

Finish

Cinnamon and peppery spice crown the finish, a long, warming fade that keeps a gentle, spicy glow on the palate.

Bunnahabhain
(BUNNA-hah-ven) Built in 1881, Bunnahabhain is situated on the north east coast of Islay, overlooking the Sound of Islay near Caol Ila. Bunnahabhain's initial aim was to produce Whisky for blending only. While it was used across the industry, it performed a central role in three famous blends: Famous Grouse, Cutty Sark and Black Bottle. Following a short period of closure in the early 1980s, Bunnahabhain re-emerged as a Single Malt.
