Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with mahogany hues and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Sherried warmth and coastal breeze mingle in the aroma: fig and date, orange zest and raisin, toasted almond, and dark cocoa with vanilla spice. A honeyed toffee sweetness coats the fruit, while a subtle sea-salt tang and oak invite a calm, maritime finish. Elegant, restrained, and invitingly matured.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied and richly sherried, this Bunnahabhain coats the palate with fig, raisin and dried cherry, layered with cocoa, toffee and toasted almond. Subtle spice—nutmeg, clove—and a hint of sea salt lift the sweetness, finishing long and balanced.
Finish
Long, elegant finish that lingers with warm sherry and coastal sweetness—dark cocoa, raisin, and orange zest unfolding into toasted almond. A gentle maritime breeze carries subtle spice, then fades to a velvet, warming echo that lingers well after the sip.
