Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold sheen and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Ripe, brandy-framed fruit greets the nose, apricot, peach and fig, lifted by orange zest and honey. Rich vanilla and toffee mingle with warm oak and subtle spice, while a whisper of sea air and light smoke trace the Islay character behind the finish.
Palate
Silky and opulent, the palate unveils dark fruit—raisin, fig and orange zest—folded into brandy-kissed vanilla and caramel. Almond echoes with gentle spice as a maritime, sea-salt thread weaves through. The finish is long and warming, with honeyed sweetness, oak and a subtle cocoa-tobacco lift.
Finish
Luxuriously long, the finish is bathed in brandy-soft sweetness. Dried apricot and fig mingle with orange zest, vanilla and toasted almond, while a delicate spice threads through. A whisper of Islay smoke lingers, granting a warm, enduring glow.
